Is another thriller horror film, similar to ours. One of the main characters can be relatable to one of our main characters, Daryl, as both characters choose the life of a killer but do so to help someone, in this case to capture new criminals, in our case to protoct his Goddaughter. The woman FBI agent can also be compared to one main female character, Willow, as she is the protagonist in the film, however our main protagonist becomes an antagonist by the end of the film as the audience learn that she too has a criminal past, and is responsible for the tormented lives of many individuals. The film is rated an 18, in comparison to our 15 certification, due to strong profanity used and the whole theme of the film being dark and intense.
Plot: An FBI agent is assigned to help find a missing woman to save her from a psychopathic serial killer who skins his victims. She must seek help from a manipulative killer, Hannibal Lecter, who used to be a respected psychiatrist, to locate the killer.

Reviews of the film:
The Silence of the Lambs was a sleep hit that gained widespread success.
Rotten Tomatoes ~ '96% fresh rating'
Roger Ebert (American film critic)~ recognised the film as a 'horror masterpiece,' and compared it to films such as Nosferatu, Psycho and Halloween.
Official Trailer:
The trailer has a narrator with dialogue from the clip in between, to build up tension and suspense. The trailer also includes flash effects as an attempt to draw the audiences attention and keep them on edge. The title emphasises the word 'silence' by using red font to show its importance within the film, we could use this in our film title sequence in order to draw the audiences' attention to something we wish them to see. We could use this as inspiration to our own work and interpret the techniques used to match ours.
After researching into a recent Thriller film, The Silence of the Lambs, we were inspired by certain elements. The plot involves an FBI agent having to work with a serial killer, to track down criminals. After researching into this we decided a further plot development was required in order to create a motive for our main antagonist killing these people. In order to create a twist we took inspiration from this film and manipulated it into our own story. The antagonist had a motive, but the twist came from our decision to develop Willow's character into an antagonist role. We decided that she should have a dark past, similar to the serial killer in 'TSotL', in order to create depth and realistic elements to her character.
