A typical primary school teacher, Daryl Black comes home from work and goes into his garage. He takes a key stuck to the bottom of his desk, unlocks the desk draw and pulls out a journal which at first looks to be a normal , every day journal. He opens it to a page with information of a young, pretty girl: Evie. Her name was in penned into the book with blood red ink at the top of the page. He pulls out a loose picture of Evie and pins it to the wall next to. A clock, and a picture of a young woman, his Goddaughter, Willow. He pins the picture of Evie over another , unknown girl.
At 12 O'clock Daryl goes towards a dark ally to follow Willow who is by herself and is unaware that Daryl is following her, she is listening to some music. Evie walks out into the ally and Daryl quickly strangles her with just his bare hands. Willow turns around because she saw a shadow of somebody behind her. She see's the murdered Evie laid on the floor as Daryl begins to pull out a big bag to dispose of her body. But Willow is unaware that it is her Godfather they share a glance and Daryl slowly stands up as he sees the shock on Willows face but she runs away but he doesn't chase after her, he has a job to do.
That night as Willow tries to sleep she can not help but picture the murdered girl in her mind and the more she pictures Evie's face the more she begins to recognise her. The next morning, Willow is still afraid and so she doesn't leave her apartment. She knows she is being watched by a man in a black hooded jacket but she cannot see his face and so she keeps her curtains shut and occasionally looks to see if he's still there but he never leaves. She leaves her appartment before night falls to visit her Godfather, Daryl and wants to stay over at his for a few days but he says she can't and wants her to leave immediatly.
That same night she see's the hooded man again who follows her home but stays a good distance away from her.
