Willow is mentally ill, but she doesn't know. She has no family because when she was younger her parents couldn't cope with the effects of having schizophrenia, and so they sent Willow to a mental hospital at the age of 6. She was then later adopted and spen most of her life with her adopted parents.
Willow kills people but doesn't know that she i doing it because she believes it is just a dream and that it isn't really happening. But the family members of the person she has killed don't know Willow has a mental disorder and come back for revenge.
Daryl is Willows Godfather but willow doesn't know he exists. He is the only real member of Wilows family. Daryl kows that she kills people and that she has schizophrenia and is set out to help and protect his Godgaughter by getting rid of the people after Willow any way he can.
